First Flipped Classroom Teaching Video Experience

 Hello to all of you! It's alperen. This week our subject was flipped-classroom approach. we were asked to prepare a teaching video for our lecturer. Allow me to briefly describe it. In basic terms, the flipped classroom approach offers both in-class and out-of-class learning experiences in a student-centered learning environment. 

The flipped classroom strategy offers benefits as well as drawbacks. Let's begin by talking about the benefits. An engaged and student-centered learning process is offered by this method. Additionally, it is tailored and adapted to the requirements of the students. Yet, a few drawbacks could make the procedure more difficult. For example, it necessitates student autonomy and drive. Due to their independence, students occasionally fail to finish assigned assignments, which results in gaps in their classroom knowledge.

For sixth graders, my partner Hatice and I created a teaching film about the location of cities. Because of the tool we chose, the process wasn't too difficult. We used Renderforest for all processes. While it was a lot of fun, there were some technical issues when we recorded the voices for the video. The sentences we originally selected for the film were too simple for the pupils, but we corrected them in the edited version. We are quite happy with the finished product.  Hey everyone! We completed another term with lots of new experiences and information. This year’s Current Issues course helped me a lot. It has lots of strengths like direct material design prepares us for the following courses and helps us with these tasks in an innovative way. It also had a few weaknesses such as, some of the tasks are not applicable in some of the classroom scenarios because of the inequality of opportunity between the learners.  The course was a bit hard in terms of using technology proficiently and the necessity of creativity. CREATING A PODCAST

  Podcasting We actually created a podcast about relationships. We conducted this task with 17 people but only 10 of them were in the podcast. Most of the participants have a stable relationship and they're happy. That was the first time I created a podcast and had a lot of fun when completing the task. All of a sudden you run into the person and ask him/her a question that is a little private and also weird. I recorded voices for the task but later I realized that I'll definitely remember this as a memory later in my life. In my own opinion, the most difficult part of the task was the time limitation. In terms of educational purposes, I would like to use it in my classes if I happen to be a teacher. Creating a podcast is more entertaining than I used to think I enjoyed every single moment of this task.
